Clarop ("we", "our", "the platform") is a production and distribution management platform built for manufacturers and production businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you use Clarop at clarop.app.

When you use Clarop, we collect:

• Business data — sales, purchases, expenses, stock levels, production records, customer and supplier information that you enter into the platform

• Provide and operate the Clarop platform

• Improve the platform based on usage patterns

Your data is stored securely on servers hosted by Render (render.com) using PostgreSQL databases with encryption at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmission
• Password hashing — we never store plain text passwords
• Multi-tenant data isolation — your business data is completely separate from other subscribers
• JWT authentication for all API access

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your personal or business data with third parties except:

• Infrastructure providers (Render) necessary to operate the platform
• When required by law or legal process

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of your data at any time
• Correction — update incorrect information through the platform settings
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us
• Export — export your business data via the reports section

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 90 days before permanent deletion, giving you time to export your records.

8. Cookies

Clarop uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

Clarop is a business platform intended for use by adults operating production businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years of age.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify subscribers of significant changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of Clarop after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
